In the early 1980’s, Craig formed Florida Diversified Securities, Inc., a N.A.S.D. registered broker/dealer that specialized in the structure and marketing of real estate private placement offerings. While the company, under Craig’s direction, syndicated over $20 million of investment real estate, he was responsible for the financial structuring of each syndication, for project financing and the coordination of all marketing efforts.

In 1986, Craig joined Almand Medical Services, a Jacksonville, Florida based company specializing in the development of multi-tenant healthcare facilities and ancillary delivery systems. As Vice President, his responsibilities included all aspects of project development, financial structuring and management of various income producing properties owned through the Company. While at Almand, Craig provided project management for facilities ranging from ambulatory surgery centers to full diagnostic and imaging centers to a 160,000 plus square foot health care park.

Craig formed The Meek Companies in 199l, continuing to provide development and construction services for all types of commercial and healthcare facilities. During this time, he partnered with Price Contracting, Inc. in order to provide more direct contracting services. Doing business as the Price & Meek Companies, Craig concentrated on the delivery of owner occupied healthcare facilities and offices, multi-tenant healthcare parks, and the development of numerous commercial projects.

Over time, the services provided through The Meek Companies were expanded to include full real estate brokerage, property management, and project financing services. In the late 90’s, The Meek Companies split from Price Contracting in order to provide more competitive and independent construction services to its clients.

Most recently, Craig structured and directed the development of Metro Square Office Park, a $26 million, 370,000 square foot office complex located in Jacksonville, Florida. As managing partner of the ownership group, Craig oversaw all aspects of this 26 acre project. The Meek Companies continue to provide total asset management services at Metro Square, including property management, the management of all leasing activities, and the coordination of on-going tenant build-out.
